Digital Marketing Intern

About the role

The Digital Marketing Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Los Angeles, CA. The intern will assist in planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and user acquisition for SmartFinanceNerd. Day-to-day tasks include supporting social media content calendars, drafting posts, monitoring engagement, and helping manage online advertising initiatives. The intern will collaborate on email marketing, landing page optimization, and basic SEO tasks, while using web analytics tools to track performance and report insights. This role works closely with marketing and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and to experiment with new growth initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Candidates should possess skills in Digital Marketing and Online Marketing for supporting campaigns across channels.
• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing to plan, publish, and analyze content on key platforms.
• Candidates should possess skills in Web Analytics to interpret traffic, engagement, and conversion data.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for clear writing, collaboration, and presenting findings.
• Basic understanding of SEO, content marketing, and email marketing tools is beneficial.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA, manage multiple tasks, and learn quickly in a startup environment.
