Affiliate & Partnership Manager
About the role
The Affiliate & Partnership Manager is a full-time on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. This role is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and managing affiliate partners and strategic collaborators to drive user acquisition and brand visibility for SmartFinanceNerd. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and pitching potential partners, negotiating agreements, setting performance targets, and maintaining strong ongoing relationships with affiliates and key accounts. The role also involves monitoring campaign performance, analyzing partner metrics, and optimizing programs to improve conversion, retention, and revenue. The Affiliate & Partnership Manager will work closely with marketing, product, and analytics teams to align partnership initiatives with overall growth strategy and brand positioning.
What we're looking for
- Strong partnership development skills, including experience in Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships management.
- Proficiency in Account Management, with a track record of nurturing long-term affiliate or business relationships.
- Excellent Communication abilities for negotiating agreements, presenting proposals, and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Robust Analytical Skills to interpret performance data, optimize campaigns, and inform partnership strategy.
- Experience in affiliate marketing, business development, or growth-focused roles, preferably in fintech or consumer tech.
- Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA and collaborate effectively with local and distributed teams.
- Comfort working with digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, partner dashboards) and basic CRM or tracking systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
