Data Analyst Intern

About the role

The Data Analyst Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. The intern will support data-driven decision-making by collecting, cleaning, and organizing product and user behavior data from various sources. Day-to-day tasks include performing exploratory data analysis, building reports and dashboards, and assisting with the creation of data models that help improve product features and user experience. The intern will collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations. Additional responsibilities may include documenting analytical processes, testing hypotheses, and presenting findings in clear, accessible formats.

What we're looking for

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Statistics and basic Data Modeling techniques.
• Candidates should possess clear written and verbal Communication skills for sharing insights with non-technical stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets; exposure to SQL or Python is a plus).
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Los Angeles, CA and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Interest in personal finance, fintech products, and privacy-focused technology solutions.
